hi Everyone,

I hear the clunk the odd time backing out of the driveway.

I have searched and read several threads. Some say ball joint, some say sway bar link, some say outer tie rod end.

Details below, appreciate your thoughts.

I just did uca, lca, srb (closest to rotor, couldn't find Ford bushing and mine looked good) at 118k miles. From what I read and was told; better to keep stock Ford SRB's than those new blue ones.

I remember asking how to tell if the sway bar links need replacing and recall Chris saying by driving or if you push down on the front, you should hear a clunk.

I pulled the wheel today and the sway bar link is solid, same with srb, lca, uca.

I didn't check the outer tie rod end and will do that tomorrow, but do not have tire wear and the steering it tight and runs straight and smooth.

Found this article How to Properly Check Tie Rod Ends interesting.
