not a good day !

Sort of basic question but are you pulling them through by torquing a nut down on the old rotors? They dont really just "drop in" they have to be yanked through.

Yes... I ordered a set specific for the ls... if that doesn't work... I must be a dill hole! Lol...

I came very close to the correct size... by matching it up but it was just too small and it spun inside the hub..

Any how it will be In tomorrow and the new axle nut...

Yes sometimes I create more sh** for myself than needed...

Thought maybe ford was different than what I've done my rotor was rusted on there good... took a hammer wouldn't come off thought maybe ford put the axle nut on the rotor... nope just needed my rubber sledge and it came off...

I know I'm idiot... but I wasnt thinking and was frustrated...

I quit smoking and so I'm sure that had to play a lot...

I have one like this. The correct replacement still spins now and then. I have to take that lug off with an impact wrench. (There is still enough friction to be able to tighten it with a wrench.)

Well the studs I had would spin with my fingers all the way... so those def didn't work...:mad:

However the new stud from ford direct are in!!!! YAY!!! :)

Downfall... work till 10 tonight... plus its dropping into the low 40s and ****ty weather till tomorrow afternoon! :shifty:

so hopefully she will be back on the road... when I get off at 4... but I hope the ones from ford don't spin as you say yours do... don't know If I like that... may not be safe...
