i was wondering how hard will it be to put a bottle in the LS and what type of results will i see..and is it easier to just turbo/supercharge it or just NOS it..

ricer!

its nitrous. nos is a brand name... but nitrous is way easier to install, then sc then turbo. you'll see mid to low 13's and about 100 horses

Easier and cheaper (initially) to add the spray. Probably not as cost effective in the long run, since you have to keep refilling bottles. To copy a member's signature:

"Nitrous is like a hot girl with an STD. You want to hit it, but you're afraid of the consequences."

lol yeah i know its a brand name im thinking about useing the NOS brand.thats why i said NOS.. i hear alot that NOS is better then ZEX. but idk. i still have to do more research

but yeah so "nitrous" it will be the better way. is there anything i should change on the car when doing the install..maybe some of the stock parts couldn't handle the power..

get a nitrous kit, window switch or progressive controller, and a bottle warmer. have fun. you can also get a tuner, but its not needed. you will want your car on dyno when you size the jets. pake sure you are data logging your afrs and the duty cycle of the fuel pump. have a knowledgable person with you. you need to step up from a small shot to a bigger shot. generally speaking people are running 100shots, wet but its not safe to say that you can without doing it the right way. Nitrous is as safe as a SC and a Turbo, but dont cut corners! oh and hte arguement about wet vs dry has happened a hundred times..... go wet and do it as previously stated and you'll be happy with it

this topic is all over this site, so to save of the old timers from having to look at it again, feel free to PM me and I guide you down the path or to the people with the right answers. I'm running a 125 wet shot Dynotune system. and have the itch to run a 150 just to see the power

Sully, what netted you the most power of your mods so far? (Besides Nitrous, obviously) I wonder just because I see you have 329 at the wheels.

i though that only babies need a bottle, real men get blown!

j/k go for the spray, its a lot easier than a blower/turbo and will cost you a lot less as long as you dont want the extra power all the time, if you do, its time for boost.

Performance LS Engines

The performance versions of the AJ engine---It's a whole family of V8 engines, mostly used in English cars such as Jaguar, Land Rover, and Aston Martin, typically are supercharged by the use of an Eaton blower, and make in the neighborhood of 400-450 HP. It seems to be established that the weakest part of the inside of the AJ line is the connecting rods. You can find out more about 'building' an AJ engine by looking over the 'Land Speed LS' thread in the performance sub-forum.

<edit> If you get serious about 'spray', by all means look at NX. I've used all the major brands, and have done well enough with NX to have my racing sponsored by them. KS
