Hey guys,
My 03 LS V8 is giving me all kinds of transmission issues (of course, no codes) since I had a shop do a filter & fluid change. (Just a pan drop, not a flush) I am getting more knowledgeable and working on my own cars more and more. I have access to a lift and am wanting to re-do the job on my own to rule out an improper install/ low fluid level as the possible root of my concerns before I get deeper into things.
Last year I found a great manual online for our transmission, and saved it on my computer. Of course, that computer has taken a permananet dump (it was only nine year old... geez) and I cannot locate the manual again. It was an Adobe file put out by a repair/rebuilding corparation that went into great detail, and if I remember, was about 150 pages. I've seen all the ads for the ATSG manual, and that's not what I'm looking for.
Does anybody else know what I am talking about? if you know what I'm talking about and know where it is, can you share the link?
Oh, and I'm not planning on taking on a rebuild myself, just a pan drop and fill, but with how specific this trans is, I really want some instructions that are very specific. I do NOT want to screw this up!
