Noise supressors

So last week I removed the noise supressors despite all the heated debate.
1art throttle perfomance is greatly improved
2:wide open throttle on the other hand seems to suffer @ mid range
3:seems mpg has fallen slightly -this after 200 ml-.5 miles
4:with just the cone filter the sound is awesome

It was a pain because originally I thought I could cut peices from the airbox no longer in used and with a soldering iron weld plastic covers on but where the chambers join ford uses some sort of apoxy and the hose if you will is rubber not plastic like the chambers. So using high temp rtv i siliconed the pieces on and it looks horrible but works fine. I plan to purchase some 3.5 aluminum pipe soon and I hope to move the maf sensor down a couple of inches so to compensate for the the resonance effect that I believe has affected the mid-range
