Noise in the rear

I've been hearing alot more noise from the LS over the last week. I had my windshield replaced (due to a crack) a couple days after I initially heard the noise but even after changing it out I still hear it. My ears can't pinpoint it but I think its coming from the rear of the car and goes up and down as I accelerate. Sounds like I have an aftermarket exhuast or intake on the car now. Any clues as to what it could be??

Did you have the exhaust checked for a leak at all?

Could be comming from rear subs. I have heard of this befoire. Try unplugging the connector and listening for it. Could be rear wheel bearings also.

I have been hearing the same thing on my '03 LS. I only have 23K on the clock so I have been a little bit puzzled?

Yeah I hear something like that in my '03 as well. I can only hear it at 50 MPH and goes away slightly above 50. I always know when I hit 50 though, thats for sure.

Thanks for the input...anyone know if its bad to drive around if it is a bad bearing? or how much it would cost to fix?

I'll just add it to the list of problems!

hey Akkord, i had never really seen your car, i'd seen your sig but never saw the pics. it looks really nice, love the front of the car. you should definitely get the clear side markers though, or black them out
