Ok I have read thru a few post in here about the powersteering leaking from the power pressure switch, neither of the post really go into detail on the swap.
Can some please shed some light on this subject for me please?

02 LS sport.

Thanks in advance.

The leak is coming from the electrical connector on the pump rear.

What is the best way to tackle this job looking from the top is tight haven't had a chance to remove the wheel and look from underneath, any all help would be thankful.

The power steering pump replacement on this car is a knuckle bleeding job if you ask me. If I had to do it again I think I would take the pump out and send it out for reman. it's like $40 on rock-auto that way.

first things first, drain all the power steering fluid out that you can, I used a turkey baster in the reservoir. Then take a breaker bar and jam it into the square hole on the belt tensioner to relieve tension and get the belt off, then remove the bolts and pop off the pump. I remember it being hard to get the fittings out, need a special tool

this is what you're working with my man

The pump is ok it's leaking at the sensor on the back. Do I have to remove the pump to replace just the sensor?
