Yeah, I read the article... and more importantly, I knew the story and the details before reading it anyway.
If McCain would win the election without running any ads or leaving his house, he wouldn't bother to do that either. Using you're logic, getting up in the morning is a desperate move by McCain.
I take issue with the premise that because the media is so grossly negligent and that it has so clearly taken a role as both an advocate and defender of Obama, that it's up to McCain's campaign alone to point out how reckless it is to vote for Obama.
Can you seriously tell me that Obama's biography doesn't concern you?
You don't find his long list of associates and influences to be worthy of some examination?
NBC sent a news crew to Vietnam to interview McCain's torturer but they haven't even begun to address Obama's biography, who his mentors are, and what type of people have sponsored him through his career.
You don't find this alarming?
The media was in the tank for Kerry, but this election cycle shocks and astounds even the most jaded media critics like myself. It's not just frustrating, it's just sad. The press is so important in a representational republic that it actually has a constitutionally protected role.... and they are grossly abusing that public trust in a way that's really inconceivable. They truly are, by definition, a fifth column.
