Hi all,

Doing all of my homework 2 years ago before I purchased my '98 CE http://www.geocities.com/jcatelotti/classic_blue.html I was well aware of the driveshaft vibration problem but try as I might (100MPR+ many times :give ) I really cannot detect any problem at all.....no funny sounds, no vibrating rearview mirror, etc.....I spoke at length with the previous owner in FLA and he did not do anything with the driveshaft. Is there a possibility that this problem does not exist for some reason on CE's or did I possibly get very lucky for some reason?

I have always wondered about this and thought I'd pose this question.

Thanks!

The driveshaft vibration problem is not always prevalent. I had a 95 and did not have a problem with driveshaft vibration either, but it is always possible since it is a 2-piece driveshaft that it will show up. If you plan on a gear change it most likely will show up then, but you never know. It is not a guarantee that it will. :Beer
