What's the difference between nitrous kits? I don't understand why a kit for the 5.0 can't be used on my 4.6 or the same for the LT1 or LS1 engines. The kits all spray nitrous. If they aren't hooked to the computer of the car, what does it matter to the car what the kit was made for? Is it just a matter of the hp rating on the kit? I'm just looking for the best bang for my buck on the 8 and didn't understand why there were so many options.

Different induction systems.

Some kits are wet, some are dry. They are also going by the mounting locations too. (Ie. bottle mount location, and where your supposed to put the nozzle in.)

You can make the kit work, but you may need more hose to plumb it. This is of course, assuming your not using a plate system. I would give more reasons, but i'm off to meet with someone about our headlight problems.

Geno, do you know the kit part number? I'm looking for one that I can adjust from 75hp to 150hp

sorry to keep bringing this up but its important.....what's the difference between the dry kit for the 5.0 and the dry kit for the 4.6L clicky!

well the price for one, maybe they assume people with the 4.6 can bare to spend the extra bucks, sorry i mean the extra couple hundred bucks. all you need to know dave is that the 5.0 kit works and works well so why go and change.
