So I start my new job next month so I'll be working about 50-65hrs per week making between 30-40 per hour. Then on top of that I'm moving into my parent's vacant old house and am going to be there rent-free 'til about nov or dec. So means I have TONS of money available to be saved up. I plan on a small mod next month. Here's the choices....

1. SCT Xcal3 tune from Torrie ($375 shipped) 10-20hp bonus plus everything else involved with the reflash of the PCM.
2. Headlight purchase with clear corners and clear side markers...then getting the LED angel eyes from lightwurkz and also having the light in the side marker turned into a white LED light for a "shine" look (will fost $400 total). Here's a few pics of the headlights/angel eye color choices I'm looking at:

What the f* r u doin where u make that much n hour and get that many hours? Congratz on the new job

they are both good choices, i think the headlights and angel eyes are a good but i bought those headlights off ebay (i'm assuming thats where you got those pics) and after about a month and a half they started fogging up and the weatherstripping on them started peeling off, with that being said if your doing the headlight i would try and find them from some where else but you may have better luck then me

But if he is throwin in angel eyes (or demon eyes-red ones) he's gonna reseal it anyway. Jus a thought

true..... so that wouldn't be a big deal as long as they are sealed correctly but i was just giving a heads up its a hard choice though not sure which one yet

Right right..if it were me buyin stuff, I'd do new headlights n green angel eyes to match my fogs, so I say choice two.

i voted 2, i would get the lights and then send them to alax for the install, from what i've seen hes done really good work and when i get my angel eyes im most likely going to send mine to him, plus i'd rather get the more expensive one out of the way now

go with the tune do its the most expensive so now you got the job you should treat yourself

i do agree the tune would be nice but he said the tune is 375 and the light and everything is 400 (i don't know if thats including install) but thats just going by price lol, but either way they both would be nice

oo i thought that he was going to clear them himself. i want to clear mine myself but when i bought the car they just installed brand new headlights and im scared ill reseal them crappy and theyll fog up

You will be making bank and saving the rent money on top of that. I would do both.

The Angel eyes includes the kit/headlights but not the install....THOUGH I could spend the 99 to buy the Angel eyes and then get my local shop who's done most of my car to do the install and smoke out the turn signal lights....though I still question the side markers........Too bad I can't find anywhere that just sells the clear turn signal lenses and the side markers :'(

If you really gonna be making ok money then go and buy yourself a BMW M5 or a CLS63 AMG Benz.

As the mods for the LS go, do both.

or I could remove the the turn signal lenses and see if I can get my shop to cut a piece of clear lense to fit over the side marker's original and remove the amber one.....then put the LED side marker light

indeed but I'd rather not have a car payment...maybe when a TON of money is saved up I'll get a newer car..especially once I turn 25 (I'm turning 24 in 2 weeks) but I NEVER wanna have a car payment unless I can pay half or more on the car......

Comes with the fact that I'm in th top 10 most saught after massage therapists in the NW. I even work sometime around Bill Gates, CEOs, inventors, pro sport players, execs, etc etc....even surgeons

Do both. Been a while since you spoiled you ls hasn't it. I would say do the headlights your self since they have the grey sealant, the hardest part on gen2's in getting them open, gen1 dont have that problem.

if I hadto vote on just one for your poll, I would do the demon eyes. You've been talking about getting demon eye for more than a year now, I want to see those bad boys on there

FYI, it's only the grey sealant gen 1's that are easy to open. There are a lot of gen 1 lights with black sealant. Those have to be cut too.

I voted for a tune, because 1st gear launch = win. DO you have SST pete?

You can save some money on the tune, too. Look around and get a used xCal2 for $150, then $50 for a tune from Henson Performance.

my gen 1 had the black sealant, im sure the previous own complained about the condensation, my LS was made at the end of 1999, so im positive the headlights were replaced at some point, maybe not, but i just used a razor and cut the black silicone

no SST, my LS is the non-sport package :P

I also hope to get my rear bumper fixed/ get my car completely detailed and get the dents/scratches out.
