can somebody tell me how big of a problem the low beams are on Gen2's? Ive searched and read what i could, but it doesnt say how common it is and all.

I wouldnt mind one of the black gen2's Ive found, but that problem seems like the most expensive and annoying(The airride problems dont even other me). Al im seeing is pay 200 for a bulb on Ebay, 500 from ford for a halogen conversion, or 300 for another HID kit plus whatever adapter rings(uh, what?) off ebay

No problem at all.
kustomizingkid has a stock bulb for sale...he also sells adapter plates for the HID kit.
Look to make sure the heat works"blend door" PITA fix
Make sure the neon works "that is also an easy fix"

Check out the front end LCA and bushings , UCA ball joints.
Make sure the trans shifts hard and firm, all these are the big problems.
Don't worry about the lights they are a easy fix.
If that car isn't rusty its worth 2k all day.
Fricken wheel is on backwards.
Gen 2 blk/blk LSC kick ass!!!!

So would a tranny cooler help prolong the life of the auto?

Thanks! Ill be sure to ask about that and look a bit- just sucks all these cars are 3+ hours away. But, they are in non-salt using states.
