LS Ultimate

Just dropping in to say “Hello!”
I’ve been lurking on the site for a while now but just purchased a 2004 LS V8 Ultimate a few weeks ago. Woo hoo!
Although everyone at work thinks I’ve turned into an old fogey. Actually, very few people have said anything. I think they don’t know what to say. That’s because I traded in my Mini Cooper S for the Lincoln. They are sort of opposites.
import vs domestic
electric blue vs brown (I keep telling them its charcoal grey)
6 speed manual vs automatic
2 doors vs 4 doors
4 cylinders vs 8 cylinders
supercharged vs normally aspirated
compact vs mid-size
lots of mpg vs not so much mpg
still in production vs no longer in production
funky interior/dash vs traditional interior w/ woodgrain
Silver wheels with brushed alum lip vs chrome wheels
Manual seats vs electric seats
So you can see why they might not understand.
Anyway, I’m really liking the LS and have a list of mods planned. Little do they know how sporty these cars can look. I’d like to add sport springs, Jag/Volvo wheels, and a trunk spoiler.
