Since the original wheels i bought fell through, i got these. ADR Propulsion 18x8.5 38 offset, hypersilver w/polished lip. Had to use a 2mm spacer on the fronts to clear calipers, oh well.

Hmmmm....photoshopped maybe, some effects to hide the shotty job

Nice looking rims.... Are those uni-directional? In the second photo, it looks like they are mounted on the wrong side.

no they are directional tires. on the toyos it looks confusing, but it actually says left and right on the tire.

oh and thanks....

I think he means the rims, not the tires ;)

they are multi directional, when i drive forward they go forward, when i go in reverse they go backwards....:shifty:

i guess you can say they are uni-directional, i didnt really inspect them in that way. ill check tomorrow how they look on both sides.

Those look good. I didn't think they would when I saw them but they do. I guess it just takes the right LS to make it work.

And no +38 offset does not stick out and it leaves lots of room. But now we have the spacer to look at. Im not thinking 2mm is much of a difference, at most he will get a small amount of rubbing if careless but what is not to be expected when lowering a car? If you want a killer look when lowering a car you sometimes have to just sacrifice that small tiny little bit of extra speed and not drive like a a$$hole:)

LongIslandLSE, what exactly went wrong in the end with those M-Classics?

Was I correct in that they dont come in our BP? I got kind of confused in that last thread. You stated that they did but then made it sound as if they dont.

I am almost positive they dont.

They don't stick out at all even with the 2mm spacer. I think a 42 or 45 offset would of been nice though, if lowered the fronts would be real close to the edge of the flare on the fender. Jwerner- they come in our bp, the manufacturer sent one out of the four in a 5x100 by mistake. They didnt have another 5x108 in stock so I got these.

Have you considered taking a grinder to the 2mm high spot on the caliper? I've done it to a couple of my cars over the years, I was careful to not take too much off or get close to the bolts or mounted tabs.

I was looking at those but in black for mine. They look good

oh and they are unidirectional, they are all the same, so the right side looks different then the left. But you cant tell unless you really look and study them.
