New Transponder Key..

lookin for the cheapest place to get a transponder key, oem...

As long as you have two keys you can program the third key. If you only have one you will need the dealer to program the key for you.

Only have one...but its like 80 bucks for the key and programmed.....thanks man

You might be better off (money wise) getting it done at the dealer if you only have one key; bite the bullet; price 2 keys; should not be that much more.

Just had to get this done. If you have one key then they are going to have to program 2 new ones. Good thing is, they can reprogram the old one once you have the 2 new ones programmed. I didnt get fobs but the dealer charged 150 for 2 new keys and a program. A lock smith wanted at least 250 just for one. Take it to the dealer! I lost my keys and i only had the one. My feeling was its going to cost me 150 either way. So i just waited till i had to do something about it, i.e. loosing my keys.

Wow! i had no idea these keys were that much! My wife's an engineer where these keys are made & got a bunch of keys for my 01 LS (they're all cut) & our Explorer. She even got me a Ford GT key, but the transponder only works for an 03+. I don't think she can get more.
