For what it's worth I am, using a stock Marauder unit.

I use a modified stock converter by Midwest converter
I think the most they could get was about 2800-3000 stall
But it only cost $180 if o remember correctly

Mine's a heavy duty unit Ford puts behind the PI units- little higher stall, better parts than stock.
