I'm BigM555 and have been lurking for a couple of years. I've found lots of useful info here but I must admit I'm not much of an auto mechanic so I haven't been able to contribute anything of much value. Maybe I can change that. ;-)
We bought the wife a black, low mileage 2004 LS V8 a couple of years ago. Though it's just a tad on the small size for myself, the wife loves it and, on the rare occasion when I do drive it, it brings back fond memories of my Mustang GT and my buddies old Thuderbird SC (I've been a Ford guy most of my adult life).
The wife recently took her beloved car into our mechanic and got some bad news regarding the rear sub frame mounts/bushings. After surfing the threads on here and doing a bunch of research I'm wondering if I might have a reasonable solution.....and perhaps I can make it easier to find for others. I won't bog this thread down with that discussion though. I'll cryo-bump one of the older related threads.
