I just bought an '02 LS V8 last week. I already put on a KKS True Rev cone filter, and I hope to do more soon.
Has anyone else ever experience and issue when revving the throttle in park or nuetral? Mine seems to cut out right a 300 RPM in both gears, but runs to the red when in all forward gears just fine.
Also, I need to get new headlights and I'd like to get the ones with the clear corners. Any suggestions?

That's the rev limiter. It's normal on gen 1 LS's. The only way to remove it is with a custom tuner, such as the SCT XCalibrator.

There are two options for clear lights. You can use the 03+ headlights, but you'll have to swap the header panel to fit them. Or you can take your current headlights apart and remove the yellow reflector. And while you're at it you can polish and re-clear the lenses.
Or I suppose you could buy new 00 - 02 headlights and take them apart and take the reflector out. Do a search on it, that's been covered here many many times.

I think the header panel he is talking about is the long plastic part that covers part of the headlights and radiator and junk! Could be wrong, I never had to swap the headlights....sorry.
