Hello all,

The wife and I just purchased a 2004 LS with 9500 miles last week (alas, it's her car) so I thought I'd join the forum. Does anyone know if there are production numbers listed anywhere? I'm curious how many were made in the color we have (it's bronze).

Anyway, just thought I'd say hello.

FWIW, there are no production numbers listed.

Hello from another SHO Owner!

Dave:
Good to see a couple of us SHO guys on the LS forums!! Maybe a little of the technical know how of the SHO group will rub off on the LS group! Not much for the LS compared to the SHO!!
We really could us a FAQ as good as the SHO Times one!!

Great looking car! I purchased a 2003 V-8 sport in May of this year. Vivid Red!

Thanks everyone for the welcome. As for the SHO-related technical stuff... Well, I was already under the LS measuring sway bars, reading shock part numbers, and checking for aluminum rear calipers, so I'm getting there. :)

The problem I've been having though with the LS is between the $3.00+ gas prices and the up_to_the_second fuel mileage display, I've been driving like granny and staring at that dash trying to eek out extra 1/10's per gallon! That fuel mileage display is mesmerizing.

I was pretty impressed by the MPG estimator as well when my LS was newer... but I just leave it on miles to empty to better gauge my fuel economy.

I'm sure you'll love the LS's balance over the SHO's tendency to understeer.
