thats because adire audio brahma's are real subwoofers, and kicker comps are bastard orphan step children. but 6 of anything can be loud if done right.

That is what I am saying...with a real subwoofer you can get much better results than with more cheap woofers. There are many other companies out there besides RE and DD, I was just using them as a reference.

those subs are NICE! i beleive someone on here is running one, a 12 or a 15" BL. if it werent for the weight id buy one

I was not technically criticizing him for wanting to do what he wants, just trying to find out what his end result was that he wanted. If he wants it loud, then there are better ways about going about it then going with 6 cheap 12's. If he is going for show, then that is a different story.
