Why not mount the coil you are talking about to the boots for and LS. It looks like it would work. Too bad I just replaced all mine or I might give it a try.

The trick these days is to get the computer to live with the coils. It is not like the old days when the only side effect of a hot coil was burned points or blown transistors on pointless distributors.

You think the computer would have a problem? They make them for so many of the new Ford cars and trucks that I would think that would have been addressed if that was a issue.

I vote that the next v8 ls driver with coil problems gives it a try. 03+'s need all the mods we can get, we have so few to choose from

I agree. I think someone should take a stand on this one, if they dont work im sure you could always send them back. Did they only work for the +03?

Don't know. It is just something to address as they do make different coils for different systems. I just am not knowledgeable enough about our ignition system to know if the coils are interchangeable with the Mustangs.
