New to me 1995 Lincoln Mark VIII
Former owner of a 1994 Mark VIII that a girl totaled when she was making a turn
(while my car was parked in front of my house) and trying to answer her cell-phone.
I picked up ththi Mark VIII for $900 a few months ago.
It had several electrical gremlins - Fixed all but the Cigarette Lighter so far.
Needed a windshield ($105) and Tires (Goodyear Eagle Sport (Sam's Club
about $400 after rebate.)
Previous owner changed door handle and didn't fix the sensor properly.
So After getting the power re-stored to the interior, the car wouldn't start.
So I had to disconnect the Alarm behind the Glove box.
Now it needs a brake booster. The brakes seem to not want to work intermittently.
My DD is the Marauder. Active member on MercuryMarauder.Net.
305 stock HP. I have a CAI and tune. Puts out about 335 HP.
Way faster than the Mark VIII.
My luxury drive is the 2011 MKS w/ Ecoboost. 365 HP and faster than the Marauder.
