Just a quick hello to everyone and props for all the posters on the site. Really appreciate the knowledge and advice that I have read on here.
I have a 2002 Lincoln LS and I have been rather lucky with it. I still have the factory plugs and coils in it and it runs so well with 160,000 km on it I am hesitant to change them even though I know I should on my time table and not the cars.
I have read a lot of nightmares of breakdowns and problems with the LS model but this has actually been the most dependable car I have owned. I bought it in early 2003 with 8,000 km's on it and just this past week I installed a new alternater and battery replacing the originals! First repair other than oil changes (Royal Purple) and replacing worn brakes and new tires . I noticed the crank pulley was not seated properly and in need of replacement when removing the alternater and ordered the part. Not bad for any car with a production date that is a hair shy of 10 years old.

A warm Hello ..........from the cold North !
