Hello fellow members,
I’m Tacoma Brian and have a “03 Lincoln LS V8 bought 1 yr. old in “04. I’m originally from Detroit and only buy American. I used to buy strictly GM but now only buy Ford. I also have a “10 Mercury Mariner for my wife to drive and me to use when needing to get a u-haul trailer for yard work as it’s a V-6 AWD with a trailer receiver.
About the LS, it’s got 84k miles and mostly sits in the garage these day as I work from home. It's also the very pretty Gold Mist color and still looks very nice. I try doing my own repair work on this car as its part of my Detroit heritage and knowing all my old high school buddies would do the same.
I’ve replaced the struts and shocks, rotors and brakes and am now doing valve cover gaskets, plugs and COP’s. This last project is how I ran across your forum, looking for good advice.
Wishing everyone a happy Memorial’s Day holiday.
