New LS owner

Hello, my name is Angie and I just bought a bone stock Ceramic White Pearlescent CC Tri-Coat '06 LS V8 about a week ago. It has approximately 38,000 miles on it. I currently don't have any pictures of it but will post some in the future. I would like to learn more about this car such as what are the best improvements I can do to it or maintain it.

What kind of improvements are you talking about? Cosmetic or Mods to improve performance? The 06 in my opinion is the best looking LS, besides the LSE model.

Are you talking about the smudge? That was the dealership sticker I tried to blot out.

They Are plug and play. I thought the 06 came with hid'S?


Basically on the plug and play kits, the wire from the harness goes into a wire coming from the HID's ballast. The ballast gets mounted to a safe spot ( do a search here for referencing ) then the other wire goes into the bulb and the bulb goes into the headlight unit and twists to lock into place.

If I am correct about the HID ( I know before 06 it was optional ) all you need is to just replace the bulb like you normally would any other bulb.

hello, just posting a thread to introduce myself. My name is Tim. I bought an '02 lincolnlsv8 going on 2 years now. I think I've been on this fourm before when I had problems with the air bag light coming on(wire under the seat)which I resolved thanks to this fourm. Now I'm back to stay. I like my lincoln the way it is and just want to keep up on maintenance and common mechancial problems that our cars have so I'll know how to fix when the issue arrives and hope to help anyone from my experiences.
