The reveal is coming in a few weeks at the LA Auto Show, which will also have the update 2009 Fusion/MKZ.

Its sounds corny...but i am actually looking forward to seeing what the new Taurus is gonna look like and the powertrain used. Our Intrepid is going to be going pretty soon and i'm not going the minivan route so i figured i'd stay with a full size 4-door.

Are you referring to this car:

As far as the MKS goes, I'm reserving judgment until I see it in person. Gotta say, tho, that the 2008 Cadillac CTS sure looks nice....

Todd,

The CTS actually looks better in person. I saw numerous 08 CTS vehicles at SEMA that were just stunning. I'm not a huge GM fan but the CTS sure was eye candy! Here are a few pictures I took at SEMA:

Ah! That looks amazing!

Whens the LA Auto Show? I missed it last year.

I don't like it, looks like lexus es330

I think you mean the GS, b/c the rear pillars on the MKS are similar to those on the GS.

The MKS is getting a GDI version of their 3.7L Duratec. The non-GDI version of the 3.7L is getting 273hp and 270-lb torque (on the Mazda 2008 CX-9), so expect the GDI version to get around 300hp and 300 lb. Similar to the 3.6L GDI on the Caddy CTS I expect.

The TwinForce TT V-6 is going to get ~ 375 hp, 400 lb torque.
