New intake/heat shield setup

So after reading about how the IAT sensor can retard timing based on intake temps I decided to get a heat shield to cover my Amsoil nanofiber conical. It's an Injen power flow heat shield and it fits great! Here are some pics. Does anyone think this setup can possibly hurt airflow?

Just the top and the the sides, the bottom portion sits right above the hole where the cold air comes from.
 
That's pretty neat... I was thinking of gettin one of those amsoil filters... I heard they're better than K&N since they don't use oil... how much did that set up run?... looks really nice and clean
 
Amsoil 4090 Conical was 50-60 bucks, Injen heat shield 55 bucks, MAF adapter was like 30 bucks or so.
