COBRA brakes! Front and rear.
Ford motorsport shorty headers. (I wanted Kooks)
Bassani High flow cats
New o2 sensors.

Now I have to install this stuff....

Let me know if you need to modify anything to fit those headers.
 
Yea let us know how the install goes on the headers and if you need to drop the k-member etc.
 
Do you have the rear Caliper bracket? your going to need that. Also hope you have a good grinder.

Yes the front bolts right up, with the exception of re-drilled rotors to 5x4.25 and the passenger side brake hose needed to be ground down a little.
The headers are Ford racing shorties for a 97 cobra. (jet-hot coated)
 
I hope you have a set of offset bushings or a steering shaft modding planned as that's the only way these headers will fit without rubbing.

No I don't. Are you familiar with these headers? What steering shaft mods do I have to do?
I am thinking about selling them and going for the Kooks with jethot coating! Dose anyone know the power differences betwen the shorties and the 3/4 length?
 
Are you planning on only removeing the heads to bolt these headers on. If so good luck. I say this because I think it easier to just pull the motor out the top. The heads are a pain in the ***. But thats just me. Good luck man Nice upgrades

It is so much easier to pull the motor than to put on headers.
 
Do those cobra brakes fit right in or is there something you need to adjust before doing anything? Also how much do they run for?
 
Yeh, from time to time. I'd lift the motor out the top rather than pull the heads off. Done both and thought the motor out deal was less aggrevatting. But thats my thoughts. How much are new head bolts and gaskets goin for these days
 
i agree thats an insane amount of work and totally unneccesary. your best bet is to get an engine support and drop the k-member and put the header on from under the car. pulling the heads off is nuts, all the timing crap to have to get back just right, much more work.
 
I pulled the stock manifolds on my car with the engine in, and I don't think that installing shorties would be much harder.
 
Well why is the valve cover off in the pic. kustom Are you sayin the the headers can be bolted on without any thing comin off the car. The wrenches I have didnt seem to fit maybe I'll have to buy some new ones. Al right droppin the k member would be easier. I still dont think the motor out is that big of a deal. It probly wouldnt need to be all the way A lift in the garage does help
 
Umm no sorry about the last pic! I put on new c.o.p. seals and valve cover seal. I have not attempted to do the headers yet! I do not intend on pulling my heads off.

the rear will require alot of grinding on both the spindle and the caliper.

Fronts take no time at all. rears will make you question your faith in all that is holy.
