Just picked up a 2004 Lincoln LS Sport in white a few hours ago. Has just under 67k miles. No pics yet since it was dark when I got it back, but I figured I would check in and say hello to everyone.

I've owned a couple cars in the past. My current DD (if you want to call it that -- I don't need to drive a whole lot) is a 1989 Honda Prelude Si 2.0 4WS. An absolute blast to drive with the 5-speed. Previous car was a 1999 Camaro Z28 6-speed with a couple mods. Owned a 1994 Lumina Z34 when I was in college. I loved the hell out of that car until the transmission burned up in traffic one day.

Here's some quick pics I snapped this morning. You can see the bugs all over the bumper from the ride home from Tampa last night. I'm probably going to change the oil with some good synthetic and give it a wash and wax this weekend.

Yeah. It's a Sirius antenna. I'll be removing it at some point because I have absolutely no need for it.

For now, no. Just going to work on replacing some maintenance parts. Already picked up an air filter, fuel filter, two jugs of 5W20 synthetic oil, and I'll be ordering some replacement Motorcraft spark plugs in the near future.

I may hack up the stock airbox according to the tech article. I've got a dremel that would probably make quick work of the cutting.

Other than that, exhaust would be my first serious mod. I'd love the car to be a little louder. Sounds good already, but who doesn't want to hear a V8 growl?

damn thats a nice pickup! you say you got it from tampa? was it on craigslist? i was looking at one similar out there. good to see someone else from florida. welcome.

Got it on Autotrader. There was a 2003 I really wanted. It was super clean, wood-grain interior, white just like this one, low miles, and they only wanted $7500 for it, but it was already gone when I called about it.

It seems that the steering wheels on just about every leather-wrapped LS I found are a little beat up on the top.
