Found out that the 2012 F 150 will now get the 5.0 All 4.6L are going out of production. 5.0 is all built at the Windsor plant. F 150 5.0 will be cast.

3 other new engines are being made, the only high light in these is the new hi performance ecoboost. Completely new V 6 Twin turbo making way more horse than the one in the Taurus. Wonder what the hell the new one is going in.

I'm gonna burn my Lincoln if ford starts turning out sub/low 13 second grocery getters. Hope they throw the new eco boost or 5.0 in a Lincoln.

well doesn't the ecoboost go in the MKS? it is just a luxury upgrade of the Taurus

Yeah but it has 10 horse less. So the Taurus is faster.

Get your matches ready. The '11 Mustang with the D37 (V6) turned 13.7 in the quarter in a recent MotorTrend video, and the rest of the D37s will be putting out similar power when they go TiVCT.

Imagine what one of those could do in something like a Fusion Sport...
