New Exhaust

yea i beleive im the only one to run spiral flows on an LS so far, so im sure it was my video you saw. ill go get sound clips now.

heres a through. a Lincoln LS sound clip board. just compliations of exhaust video's for others to refrence from. most mustang/camaro/Ls1 cars all have a site or post like this, it really helps with the "will this sound good" threads

That has potential. I see what you mean though about it not looking up to par. Its almost like they cut out to much bumper and the cuts are flat and have no contour if you know what I mean. But otherwise that looks awesome!!

wow that guy hacked the crap out of your bumper. still, it looks good, just needs to get rounded out to look more refined and OEM like
 
i think im going to switch to borla or something.

i dont really like the sound of the spiral flows anymore.

time to go look for flow charts!

Will you keep those tips?

I sometimes think dual tips like that can look funny on exhausts with mufflers shaped like that. They look better on oval mufflers IMO.
 
mufflers are under the car. i should prolly take pics of all that.

the moroso spiral flows that are on it now are falling apart they said. you could shake it and little bits and peices would fall out lol. guy operating the sawzall didnt know what he was doing i dont think.

but anyways the spiral flows are where the resonators used to be. ill go take some pics!

2000, born on date was may of 99.

i also live in ohio, we get snow and road salt. i beleive the car was even up in cleveland sooo, more snow and salt!
 
not to be a coppy cat or anything.. well I suppose if more than one person does anything its a copy haha but you convinced me to go with the spiral flows rather than the the xpansion II's from lms, im thinking about going 2.5 from the converters back, xpipe, and mounting the spiral flows as far back as possible then going from 2.5" spiral flow to a 3" all the way out the back, they should get here tomorrow so hopefully I'll too have some clips to post by midweek
 
not even a year. problem is snow and salt. mufflers were mounted basically right in the line of fire of snow and salt getting thrown off my tires.

On my camaro i had the spiral flow also, it lasted alot longer because it was mounted under the car.

either way there cheap mufflers 50$ for a 2.5 i/o. 99$ for a stainless version.

its ok revolutionary concepts! ill be switching mufflers soon and will prolly be the only one running magnapacks. I had someone start the car for me the other night. it could be because mine are rusting out, but shes not where i want her to sound. fresh spiral flows should sound better and flow better so you should be ok. And this is just my experience with the mufflers, they sound better when they are mounted in the middle of the exhaust to me. when theres not enough piping behind them they sound strange to me.

the day i got it back i was at work and started it up and revved it a few times so a co-worker could hear it. a guy came out of our body shop and walked over and said "wow! i was looking for a mustang!"
