New color for the Ls..

Im thinking of switching my color up on the LS... Ive been told tho that my color isnt all the common. What do you guys think? Should I repaint it back graphite blue or should I go black.. Or maybe platinum silver.. :cool:

dark gunmetal I think would look great on an LS... Just MO of course.
 
Yea.. that'll be hot too.. I was thinking if i kept it blue i mite go with some goldish 20 inch racing rims.. to kinda play off the blue and gold theme i have going on now with my plates and marker lamps and all.. thats truly why i havent cleared the lenses yet. what are ur thoughts on that drizzle..

Thanks.. and yea, Ive been thinking about that also. Some ppl say the color of my LS is kinda girlish..:mad: I kinda want to do it periwinkle blue like how my TC is.. this car is like a shade or two darker. But black is calling me even tho that color is sooo common.
 
I think changing the color of the whole car is a bad idea, itll never look as good as factory paint. Whats wrong with your color?

Unless you get a very expensive paint job. Im trying to paint as few panels on mine as possible and keep as much factory as i can.

Oh and black is nice but hard as hell to keep clean. very hard.

You want it to look better? chrome out the stockers and grille and put a shine on them tires.

Yea.. I know about black.. My DTS is black so I know how hard and unforgiving that color can be. lol. Im on the lookout for some factory chrome now.. I want the rims like urs. You wanna sell em? lol

I like that color. You do realize that a quality paint job is going to cost you $4k+ right? just something to think about.

Yea.. Im aware of that.. and ur in peoria right? i used to live on bourland. around the corner from u. i remember ur mark 8

Front and rear bumper alone ran me $800.

I would say more like $5 grand for a whole vehicle.
 
I think if you cleared out the headlights and bumper lights and went with some silver or alloy rims like Hylife, that will compliment that color nicely. Changing the color is going to cost you dearly especially if you want it done right. That job will probably be more than what the car is worth.
 
I don't know if people remember when Hylife had dubs, but they made that color one of the best looking LS's I've seen. That is the same color or pretty close isn't it?
