It’s a shame, but I’ve seen very little mention today in various media outlets, maybe a small excerpt and a few photos. I guess it’s true that time has a way of healing wounds or diluting horrible events.
I guess you could look at all wars/tragedies and notice the same thing. How often was Vietnam talked about and remembered in the 90s? I guess the world just moves on, or just forces itself to.

Yeah. Seems many have forgotten today. However... and surprisingly... PBS has not.
Remembering 9/11: Three Docs to Watch (and One Podcast)
As far as Vietnam goes... Maybe my soul is older than its years, but I have had conversations with numerous vets. I've heard some of the "rumors" first hand.
If nothing else... we should remember because of the pain and suffering of anyone directly involved in any tragedy.
