Tried a couple of search options but nothing came up......So my neon light's not working......before I buy a DC 45 I want to be sure it's not a fuse....Is it under the hood or behind the fuse panel?.....What number is it? .....If one of you kind gentleman would help me out I would appreciate it......My name is Bruce L. Hansen.....Senior Citizen (77)......And I don't suffer fools.

Iirc, isn't the dc45 the single stage (?) ballast?
Check fuses 31 & 32. If you have a 97 owners manual it'll show the first gen fuse layout.
Fuse picture is on page 110, flip it upside down to get the correct orientation when looking at it on the car. The fuse slots are also numbered.
