I knew it couldn't be this easy. In doing my switch to lowered coils in the front of my car I ran into a problem. The bottom bolt which everyone complains about, the new strut doesnt line up with the holes (On the bottom large bolt) its a bit off (30 degrees maybe) its crooked enough that I cant force it to work. is there a way to adjust this either with the suspension or, strut (twist it enough to line up?).

I twisted the one that gave me problems. You might need two people to get this done - one to twist the strut and the other to get it lined up and the bolt in. Only happened on one side for me.

Thanks, I put a big c-clamp around the bottom of the shock, and used it for leverage twisting it into submission, and using the floor jack to lift the suspension to just the right spot, and got that effin bolt in there

now the drivers side wont go in without disconnecting the steering knuckle from the upper control arm (per AAS instructions from there website). Its stuck, I cant get it apart. So thats where Im at now.

It is, but it's fitting. :D

Oh, you may also want to pry it open a bit after removing that bolt. That helped me as well.

Well I got the fronts done, along with a gas filter change also. The drivers side I didnt remove the upper control arm. I had my wife hold a pry bar on the sway bar, while I muscled the shock thru (open it up, and push it in..........)
Anyway, on the the rears now. Hopefully the rear wont be so tight..........
