as the title states recently purchased 97 lsc has come into my possession and whilst in this forsaken country Ive got some ambitious dreams for my 2 dream girls i.e c/e wheel n know b some how making steeringwheel mounted volume controls a reality for a 97 lincoln any help in finding parts would be greatly appreciated
 
keep an eye on ebay. the wheels pop up from time to time, but be prepared to pay for a nice one.
 
You can pick up a taurus/sable wood shift knob for almost nothing, but you will have to rewire the o/d button.
 
I believe 01+ and I have personally not ever rewired one, not even mine yet lol, so I can't help you there.

The normal, more common, but still pretty rare, Sable shift knob, with no O/D button. I think this one came from a 1999, or maybe 2000.

The one that looks like crap had been in the elements for quite some time, and possibly had some kind of chemical spilled on it. I think the "wood-grain" is actually hydrographics. It was all bubbled up in that spot, so I tried to sand it and it just came right the F off. Oh well, I didn't make it any worse than it was. I'll probably sand it all smooth and paint it or something...
