Need Help

I drove from WV to NC a week ago and had no problems. I went to back up the other day and my LS had a stutter. When driving I might get a slight stutter here and there, but when stopping and taking off it seems to bog down before taking off. I've never had this issue before even when I had coil failure. Not sure if it could be coils this time or not. After a search I thought it might be the MAF but my CEL isn't on.

What could this be?

You can always try cleaning the MAF which is pretty easy. If that doesn't work... coils! Lol

If the coils have been replaced check the throttle housing to see if it is dirty. You should scan for codes to see if you have anu codes that haven't triggered the light.

Thanks guys. I did buy some throttle cleaner today and was going to buy MAF cleaner but thought since I didn't have a code I'd pass. I'll clean and have it checked for codes tomorrow. I think I might have a marginal misfire from what I was told in a previous post. I planned on replacing coils and plugs anyway, so I might just do that, but if it's not causing the issue I wouldn't want to waste the cash.

I would have been too busy to do anything though. Found out a family member was smoking crack and was in a hurry to get things ready to make the trip to NC.

The good thing is they called for help cause they want to get off of it.
