Need Help

I got a 2000 ls with a 3.9 v8. This car has a problem it back fires through the intake will not take the gas.You can drive it if u dont give it alot of throttle. I replaced the plugs,coils,fuel filter,value cover gaskets. The battery light will flash when it starts to act up.

Hmmmm.......does it have a rotten egg smell to it? I would think that maybe your catalytic converters are pluged?

It does have a smell too it. I hope that is what it is.

Plugged cat sounds likely. Could be that, a fuel injector issue, or maybe it jumped timing.
