The information control buttons on my 95 Mark 8 do not work, the message on my display is unaffected by me pressing the buttons. What is the procedure to trouble shoot this malfunction? It will tell me if the door is ajar, air ride off, etc. Thanks in advance.

What is it displaying? Certain messages can not be cleared, like door adjar so no matter what you press - nothing.
If all is well, but pry it up and make sure the buttons are connected. If the button labels illuminate, they should be connected.
Do the outer buttons work, like the oil change one?

I just picked up a used one on ebay for cheap and voila, no more pressing reset 50 times.
The message center displays "oil change required", if I open the door "door ajar" if I open the trunk "Trunk open" but pressing any button has no effect.------------went back out-pryed up buttons-----both plugs unplugged. Problem fixed.
