Oh ok. So far I have 2 10" rockford p1(150 rms). But I'm still trynna to decide which amp I should. Ecplise da7122(1000rms) or my xplod(120 x2 rms)

i wudnt go with either one......sony amps, at least the newer ones arent exactly what most people would get. you could get a decent amp to power those subs for less than 150 bucks. like http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_18053_Hifonics+BXi+610+-BXi610-.html

Just a clarification question, on an 01' (without the stock speakers in the rear deck) the door speakers are driver directly off the deck right? If so then with an aftermarket deck wired to the factory harness would directly power the door speakers through the factory wiring right?

i believe so....but if you are running aftermarket speakers it might not give them enough power to sound good, they will probably distort rather quickly

Sweet, thanks. I currently have stock speakers with a cheap kenwood deck. The deck says 50x4w but I feel like it under powers the stock speakers even. The bass distorts easy like it needs a capacitor. If I turn the sound to just the front speakers and turn it up it makes clearer and I think more bass then if i turn it to all speakers.
On of these days I'll install my Pioneer navi deck that's sitting in my bedroom. Then install new speakers.
