Need help finding piece for 1976 Continental

I'm having a very hard time finding an exterior piece. I have a 2-door 1976 Lincoln Continental. I only need the exterior back panel trim, driver's side. It's the thin piece that goes along the side and up and around the wheel arch, then goes to the tail light.

I've made alot of inquiries, even paid to have a company send out my inquiry to other companies, i.e. salvage yards, part stores etc.

I'm hoping SOMEONE can help!!

I'll keep an eye out in the junkyards in my area, but do you know what other years this piece was used? (would 77-79 work?) I think I know what you're talking about but not 100% sure, can you post a picture of the area you are missing or is damaged?

Well I'm trying to paste it to this area, but it won't take. I'm probably doin' something wrong. But you can see a grey '76 Lincoln @ google images, just enter 1976 Lincoln Continental and there will be a grey one that is showing only the driver's side.
