need help asap, car wont start and alarm goes off. NEVER MIND PROBLEM SOLVED.

Just got out of work and went to start my car, I have been having a little trouble starting my car for the last week since I still have the original battery and its finally starting to wear out. Started my car up and it instantly shut off and the alarm went off. Everything on my dash was lit up and my message center was telling me to check my advance track and parking break.

Probably your battery is bad/dead. When ever my battery sits too long it goes dead and when I try starting it my car tweaks out. Lights flash, alarm goes off, and message center gives errors.

Your correct... It was my battery, hooked it up to coworkers car and jumped mine and she started right up no problem. Well off to get a new battery tomorrow.... I figured it was the battery, I didn't and still don't understand why the alarm would be going off and why my message center would be going crazy.

Because these cars are particularly sensitive to voltage irregularities. Check out that thread from a couple of days ago with all the wacky stuff caused by a bad battery.
