i have a motor from a 97 a guy is interested in, he has a 97 cobra with a bad motor, he wants a temp motor ( mine ) while he has his built, question he needs to know is, what does he have to get for a flywheel tomake his 5 speed work on the mark crank, is a gt crank a 6 bolt like the mark VIII? his is an 8 bolt crank so he cannot put his flywheel and clutch on my motor, but we need to know what can he put on my crank, to make his 5 speed work. any help is much appreciated.

He will need to have a flywheel drilled with the Mark Vlll bolt pattern and have it zero balanced. I am almost certain that the starters run the same teeth.

maybe a gt flywheel? i think its the 6 bolt patteren as ours is but dont quote me on that.....

Starter's are the same and a GT flywheel works fine, 6 bolts same pattern. also i am 95% sure he can use his clutch and pressure plate. i am running a T56, mark moter ,GT starter and flywheel with this Stage one spec clutch and presser plate. they say in works in GT's and Cobra's so it is interchageable
