need a little help

ok, im going out of state for about 90 days for a job assignment. i had planned on working to get my 98 c/e running in the next month. i need a good mark8 mechanic to figure it out and get it running for me to pick up in mid to late november most likely during thanksgiving weekend.

what its doing is turn key and clicks but not crank, i havent had time to see if its the starter or pats or locked motor, im aware how to do it, but work is taking too much time and being gone, i need to get her runnig so i can get on and motovated to finish the other work...

Have you tried jump starting it?
Check battery voltage and connections

Had the same problem on my '97.

Bought a used SCIL module for $45. (Your cost may vary)

15 minute remove and replace session.

Problem fixed.

hi ren, i think my scil might be bad and thats why im only getting one headlight on. ive tried the ballast and the bulb and checked the wiring, all to no avail. my question is does the scil have anything to do with the pats system? id hate to change it only to have it be key specific to another car
