Navigator Heads Question

hey fellas...are there any good parts from Navi Heads that can be used in our Marks

They are C heads... so they would be a good head to have if you wanted to slap on some of the newer blowers...

i thought the navis had the 5.4? are they not different?

Just got back from getting the heads...they're in bad azz shape and he even gave me $20 back for meeting up near him...$180 for both the heads with Valve Covers and Stock Headers (which I don't think I'll need)

I think they are 5.4's but C style heads...

5.4 is just a taller deck to make up more displacement.

Depends on the year, 98 models were not c heads

^^^ true...98 models were sohc 5.4L triton V8s like the Expeditions

I got the 4 Valve Heads which are from the later models' 5.4L intech Modular V8s which has the biggest Intake port out of the other C Heads and the exhaust port is alittle bit smaller than the 03 cobras' because the cooling passage ways are big as fucc on the Navi Heads which is great for boosted applications so all in all the navi heads are great for boost but a dog if your gonna run N/A

The D and F heads are bad, but the A heads were the worst!

I like the D heads. Easy power. The F heads... Eh. The stock 4.6 can't handle them.

No you don't... Lots of extensive work involved to make them fit properly.
