Year, Make & Model? Anyone know?

:I ....i have seen two of those around here recently. Those things were pretty loud but the guy was just cruising so I couldnt see its potential.

Nope.

The first part is easy, but its not a 1974 DeTomaso Pantera .

The second question is very hard, unless you really know ME. :)

its the origional ford fiero gt40 concept.

You like it because it was free.

Or because it can hold lots of women and you found money in the glove box.
 
It's a "pre-L" Pantera. 1971 or 1972. After 1972 they didn't have the chrome bumperettes. And the reason it's special to him is because he is a Meatball Italian. Sigh.....

I bet nobody gets the why. Alejandro De Tomaso is the designer / founder of the company, and he is a distant cousin of mine. His father was the cousin of my great grandfather. We share surnames.
