My wheels are here!!

Looks pretty nice man, but that doesn't mean that I am not gonna ban you! Post some more pictures, stat!

Looks like you need some lowering to do, but overall looks clean.

From another thread, it sounds like he's getting some eibach's (good choice btw, jwerner)

Any rubbing with the 38 offset + 8.5" wide? Or does the 235 eliminate that?

Wow you guys are like sharks:lol: . No need for name calling:p

OK yesterday and today its been nice out so I got a few pics. Today I am going to do a good wash and start a project. I will explain at the bottom.

OK first I am happy with the wheels 100% but as I thought they are to sporty for a big car at factory height so I am dropping it and maybe getting 235/45's. Now what I need to do is some testing in heights to see what I can pull off. I will be going out today after work and getting spring clamps to see how low I can go and how things would look and tomorrow I will be purchasing my springs. I also am going to match my bezels.

I am not leaving the clamps on! I am just using them for measurements.

Now my next batch of pics aren't going to be for a bit but they will be nice. I really like quality pictures so when I am finished I'm going to glaze the car up nice and find a good spot for some shots.

As far as parties go, lets do it!

Those wheels look beautiful on your LS! Exactly the look I love on these cars!

Thanks guys. I do plan on rolling the fenders up.

I'm a bit old school so I will always recommend rolling fenders when doing a drop job. But if you would see it in person you would see it just might not rub.

Another thing is I'm not hard on cars at all. If I go low its for looks and I am willing to sacrifice any performance and high speeds. I just cruise with this thing, now the Highlander believe it or not I fly with that thing. I love it, good on gas, has a tough sound to it and its pretty fast. Great on mild off road.

Jwerner looking siiiiiiick!! Im really diggin the look of those wheels I want some of those but 20's chrome or black w/ polished lip.

U still going to do your car VIP style ?

Nope. I'm getting a dealership performance tune to match the wheels I put on as well as the exhaust I will be getting and the K&N air filter definitely needs a tune for it as well;) . Then I am adding bicycle mirrors and a front mount air filter ( please sense the sarcasm )

Pektel it is a primer. I am painting the bezels color match and tossed it back together for a picture for you guys. I thought that it would be more uniform and more even if I primed it black before I used grey primer over the turn signal and bezel. I am trying to think up a amber reflector to put in like the 03+ or a translucent orange I have seen that will make it look like chrome amber but I hate that chrome in a spray can stuff.

Right now it is to dim for driving at all the way it is even during the day.

yes paint your bezel so it looks like mine, go to an auto parts store and pick up so temp resistant spray paint. mine matches absolutely perfect.
