My trans just wet the bed and it got a mad coolant leak too?!

So coming back from a trip to W/C screwing with a friends R6 on Rt22. All of a sudden my engine winds out? So I let off the throttle till I was doing about 20mph.

Turn off the OD and play around but all I am able to get it 1st and 2nd gear. So I cruise home doing around 50mph at 45 to 5000rpm hoping this 209,855 engine holds together?

Got back to my friends house with my coolant light on for some reason? Pop the hood and it is maybe an inch low in the tank. Go out and get some ATF fill it to the full line drive around the block, only hits 2nd gear still but coolant light comes on again? Pop hood and coolant tank is empty. Dripping from center of engine but pump is dry. Seems to be dumping from lower part of block?

Only half the problem anyway seeing as I don't have a trans anyway now

Freeze plug letting go? Don't know about the trans though...

I haven't got a chance to look under my Mark yet to see where the coolant leak is coming from? If it does happen to be a freeze out plug which would be a bit odd I am wondering how much of a PITA it will be to replace

That and why the hell it would have happened to pop at the same time as the trans

i did that for 3.5 hours one time..fun stuff huh?

sorry to say but one of those 4-2 WOT downshifts smoked your one way clutch

One of the many I did, not to mention when the tailshaft came loose from vibration. Leaked all the ATF out and it would neutral drop going around corners and after hard stops.

Even tho they are supposed to be weak tranny's I really abused this one to 209k

My main concern aside from the trans is wheres the water leaking from

Is your passenger side floorboard wet? Checked heater hoses?
