Well as a new LS owner... I wanted these guys to see what a real Lincoln is made of. ;-)

Just kidding... I love my LS too. But I do think the Mark VIII is quite an automobile. A car before it's time.

This was my father's car and I bought it off of him back in 2003 when she had 65,000 miles on the odometer. She now has around 135,000 miles on her and still going strong. I drove her everyday back and forth from the mid cities to Dallas (55 miles) for those six years. I want to start putting her in local car shows because she is absolutely perfect... and everything works like the day my dad brought her home from the dealership.

If you LS drivers have never sat behind the wheel of a Mark VIII, you have really missed out. Unbelievable power. At 120 MPH she still punches and your head will hit the head rest.

Thanks for the complements. I need to get some photos taken of my LS and get them on here.

I don't know about Mark viii kicking harder into your sit than a LS. My 95 MK8 ran 14.7 at 97.6 mph in quarter mile, and i don't know what my LS runs but its got much stronger punch to it than my Mark viii did(at any speed).

Anyways, the car looks good man, keep up the good work.

Great looking car!!!!

A little piece of advice from personal experience, get rid of the hallogen headlight bulbs and convert to HID's. You will save your housings from getting any further damage and save youself many headaches and dollars in the future.

I've replaced the headlamp housings turn signal/side marker housings and front grille. I know what your saying about the inside burning... The originals didn't cast any light... I couldn't believe how bad they were.

HID are something I want for both the Mark VIII and LS.
