Hey Im thinking of putting a mark engine in my 84 ford bronco! not sure if I can do it but I would like to give it a try. Anyone know it this is possible? should be able to mate a aod to it for tranny.
If it were me doing it I would buy the 4V and then find a 4r70w and transfer case from an F150... After you get the drivetrain mounted all you have to do is install a high pressure fuel system, wire it up and figure out what computer to use, and get some custom driveshafts made.
I have the engine. I need the tranny and t-case. the computer and wiring is the only thing to be considered. If I use a 90's model t-case and tranny from a bronco I should mostly fit or be pretty close. but not sire on stuff like speedo which is analog and stuff like that.
why dont you just build a 351w for it, I have a 95 bronco with it and its a good motor to mod. I am currently having a 408w built for a mustang or maverick... not sure what car I want more.
There was a truck here locally not long ago that had a mark viii motor. It was a early 90s f150. I cant imagine it being that hard if someone has done it already.
